Memorial Auditorium
Memorial Auditorim was completed in 1952 and named in honor of the enlisted men and women who served in World War II. Legendary Concordia coach Jake Christiansen designed the $650,000 facility. During construction in 1951, a strong wind storm caused the building's steel frame to collapse. The auditorium was renovated in 1972 and the again in 1990 to make it more suitable as a performance hall. Memorial Auditorium is used for many athletic activities, the annual Christmas concert, and other large performances.
