Aasgaard House

Built in 1916, the Aasgaard House was purchased by Concordia in 1920 and served as the President’s Residence until 1951. From 1951 to 1986, the house was under the care of the home economics department, which used it as its Home Management House. The house was named after Concordia’s fifth president, J. A. Aasgaard (1911-1925) in a 1981 dedication ceremony. Since 1986, the building has housed the Office of Communications.
