A long line of students entering the bookstore around 1951.

President Aasgaard’s remodeled garage was home to the first bookstore in 1921. After that structure was razed in 1939, the Bookstore moved to the first floor of the Home Economics Building. In 1954 a building for the Bookstore and Post Office was built on the south end of campus near Memorial Auditorium (see the description for the Education Building for more information). Since 1963, the Bookstore has been located in the basement of the Normandy space attached to Livedalen Hall.
