Livedalen Hall was built in 1962 for $1 million which was funded by a government loan. Named for Ole Livedalen, a North Dakota farmer and benefactor to the college, the dormitory originally functioned as a men’s dorm until 2009 when it became a co-ed residence hall. A substantial renovation occurred in 2002 at a cost of $1.3 million to update the bathrooms, dorm rooms, and lounge areas.
