This section celebrates Carl B. Ylvisaker (Religion Department Chair and Dean of Men), G. L. Schoberg (Professor of French & German and Chair of Modern Languages Department), Frida Nilsen (English Professor and Dean of Women), Reidar Thomte (Philosophy Professor and Philosophy Department Chair), and Walther Prausnitz (English Professor, English Department Chair, and Director of Liberal Arts Studies). These five influential faculty members played instrumental roles in the burgeoning of Concordia's humanities department.
