Hi Yve
How have they been treating you back home[?] I got a couple of boys around me bothering me. They keep telling me that you are going out and everything while I’m in the army but I keep telling them that I got a good girl at home. I got three other boys down here looking on down here to every thing [sic] I write. The[y] all worry about how much trouble I cause them when I make out the weekly report but I try to tell them that I wouldn’t tell on them. Well I feel a lot better to day [sic] I can eat a little more than usual. You know they still make us listen to the new program on the raido [sic] every noon hour. There isn’t much doing down here so we are all playing around and having a good time. I got your letter that you wrote from her house. I hear that you can sing I hope you make out o.k. You would’nt [sic] believe me when I told
[Page 2]
you you could sing. I can’t excuse the writing pen in pencil. I think I going to be on guard Sat + Sunday so I guess I won’t be going out and get me in trouble so I guess I safe for another week. Well darling I guess I’ll close now there [sic] all making fun of me so I guess I close now. I love you darling. Love
