Darling Yve,
Well here it is the 13th which means we’ve been married six months to-day and it don’t [sic] seem that long at all. I guess its [sic] because we haven’t been together too much of the time. I got a nice letter and a package from you to-day and the cookies were tops and the rest was good to [sic] but just give me anything you make and thats [sic] what I like. Maybe I’d even like cheese if you made it. Well I didn’t do much to day except gold [brick] and of course eat with that package. It started to snow this morning and it [sic] still snowing now and it [sic] very slippery out maybe you ought to bring your chains
[Page 2]
with you when you come. Well I guess that [sic] all the news there is down here. I hope your brother is settled and everything is find at home. Darling if you get to clarksville [sic] at 4:10 I’ll be able to be there to meet you. Do you want me to get a room or have you one reserved [sic]. let me know. I wish the weeks would go a little faster. I”m in an awful hurry to see you again ain’t I? Well darling I guess I saw good night now but remember darling I love you so very very much that nothing matters and don’t worry about me leaving without seeing you again. I love you with all my heart and always will. Goodnight darling, I love you. your loving husband
