Dear Daffy;
I just got your letter and got some time to answer it so here goes. Yes darling I’ll love you just as much no matter how tall you grow. Darling you talk about me getting a furlough in May or June and I don’t think I [will] even be in this camp then. I think we will be moving out about the 15th of April but nobody knows where. I wish I knew where we we’re [sic] going because maybe it will be nearer
[Page 2]
home. Don’t worry darling I won’t be another John Chamberlain and marry a widow with a couple of kids. Darling I like kids but to have a family before I get married that’s too much. Daffy I thought that I was going to have a little time when we got back to camp but its [sic] just as bad up at four in the morning and back at seven or eight at night. I’m not complaining darling but I sure don’t like it. I love you very much darling and always will. Good night for now. Lot of love
Lovy
