Camp Campbell, Ky.

April 20, 1944


Hi short and Beautiful

Gee darling I love you. You know it[‘s] too bad that I have to be so far away from you all the time. Well darling here I’m [sic] just finished my work for the day and its [sic] funny I’m not tired at all, you know I feel just like taking you out dancing but of course its [sic] impossible but its [sic] a good thought any way. Gee I wish I was home so we could go dancing once in a while. Well darling there[‘s] a rumor that I’ll take a two day trip with this little truck of mine. You see when they discontinued the A.S.T.P. well

they shipped a bunch of the boys down here and I get to take some of them to another camp and darling theres [sic] a lot of Air Corp Men coming in to this camp since they are discontinuing a lot of those training bases. Oh well enough of that. Darling I’m going to write home and find out Bills [sic] address. He hasn’t written to me for a long time so I’ going to close for now. I love you and always will so until to morrow [sic]. I’ll be thinking of you all the time. Love
