Hi Darling,
It’s me again and gee I miss you. Well same old things happened to-day, [sic] and oh yes Ted went on a three day pass. I got a letter from you to day [sic] to [sic] and it helps a lot but still I miss you. Darling did you really mean that when you said you wanted to come down here the last part of Aug. for a week? I’d sure love to have you if I could find a place in town. A buddy of mine [is] having his wife come down
[Page 2]
sometime in Aug. and that’s if he can get a room for her to stay in and he’s not on bivouac. Maybe I’ll be able to find a place by that time. George Kalas wants to know how I like married life and why I didn’t bring you back. Well so much for that. How’s my little wife tonight? Gee I wish I could be with you now. Last night I had a beautiful dream, the war was over and we were to gether [sic] and that is about the best thing that could ever happen. I got to get my gum cleaned for inspection to morrow [sic] so I’ll have to leave you now but I’ll write to morrow. [sic] I love you I love you I love you so much darling so until tomorrow. All my love,
Howard
