Hello darling,

In about one week I’ll be home and it seem[s] to[o] long to wait. Darling I love you so very much but some times [sic] you don’t seem to think that I’m excited about getting married. Darling I just can’t wait and darling I know we’ll be very happy, and I want you to be just like you are. Well darling we had a little fire this morning down in the next building to where I am but the fire men put it out and there was very

little damage but it was exciting. This after noon [sic] I think I’ll go over to the hospital to see my boss and another one of my buddies. Darling it sure is hot to-day [sic]. The temperature is up to 100° to day [sic] and it’s only morning. I looked at my wool O.D. to day [sic] and they look hot. Well darling I got to stop now and eat chow but I’ll write to night [sic]. I love you and I’ll tell you how much when I see you. As Ever
