Hi Yve:
I just got the letter you wrote and in it you don’t seem to want me to come home right away, but if I get a furlough I have to come or wait for an other [sic] four or five months to get one. Darling I’ll never change my mind about you but if I got home and I can’t see you there[‘s] going to be a big mix up. It seems to me that they don’t trust me and I don’t like that. If I ever did anything very wrong I’m sorry but as far as I know I haven’t so you can tell them they have nothing to worry about. It seem[s] as though every time [sic] that I believe every thing [sic] is O.K. something turns up and spoils it just like you wrote. Darling if I can get home before Easter do you want me to come or do you
[Page 2]
want me to wait until Aug. [August] sometime. I can’t write any more [sic] to-night [sic] but I [will] try tomorrow. I don’t feel to [sic] hot so tell me do you trust me or not? I’d like to know. Well darling I love you very much. So much that anytime that I think you don’t trust me I--oh I don’t know. Well I [am] going to bed now. Take care of your self [sic] and don’t forget me anyway. Love
Howard.
