Dear Yve:
How are you feeling to-day [sic][?] here it is ten o’clock in the morning and I’m writing you a letter from my little office. Darling I miss you a lot and I was feeling kind of blue last night so I went to church but keep this between me a [sic] you. I wish I could see you it seem such an auful [sic] long time since I was home. I got the box of cookies and the pop-corn [sic] and they both were swell. In facted [sic] I’m still eating the cookies I got them down in my desk drawer. I went to Louisville and as I got off the bus I saw a girl get off a bus from New York and she look so much like you that I walked up and was going to talk to her and then I change my mind because it was’nt [sic] you but honest she could be your twin sister. Darling why do you always write to me and tell

me to take out other girls and go any place I want to, do you want to get rid of me? It sounds that way any how [sic]. You know I love you and I would’nt [sic] tell you I loved you if I did’nt [sic]. I saw that latest picture A Yank at Eton it was pretty good but the shows ain’t the same with out [sic] you. Well I have to close ow the Company Commander is coming so until we meet again I love you. Love
