Hello darling,
Its [sic] just me again and I’m pretty dirty in fact I haven’t had a shower yet, but as soon as I write this letter. Well darling I’m still waiting to hear from you darling and I’m so very lonely. I thought maybe I’d get a letter from you because it [sic] friday and you would write Tuesday but I guess the mail is pretty slow. I guess they dont [sic] know just how much I want to hear from you and I love you. Well darling I didn’t do very much to day [sic] except sleep and
[Page 2]
eat. I took a litttly [sic] ride in Cherry about 75 miles and then S/Sgt. Tony Siragusa gave us a class on machine gun. [sic] You remember the guy that bought the cokes in town. Well darling I must take a shower before lights out so if I have time after I get back I [will] add a little more.
Later
Hi mummy well here I am all nice and clean and just about ready to get in bed but it’s not the right kind of bed. I like those wide ones so you could be with me. I love you so much and good night for now. Love
Howard
