Hello Darling:
What makes you keep thinking I don’t want to marry you? I wish you’d tell me. Gee I’ve been living a rugged life for the past week and its [sic] beginning to toll on me. The lsat to [sic] nights I’ve had seven hours sleep and work the rest of the time that [sic] why I haven’t written and why to-nighs [sic]

letter is going to be short. To-morrow I won’t be able to write you because I’ll be out on a bivouac so there keeping me kind of busy lately. I haven’t had a letter from you for two days now so I’m hoping I get one to morrow [sic]. You don’t know what a little from you does to me I guess its [sic] because I love you so much that it gives me that big lift. Darling I’m going to close now but get that [illegible deletion] thought out of

your sweet little head that I don’t love you because you can’t begin to know how much I really love you and I can’t tell you because I can’t put it in words. Well darling good night and remember that I’ll always love you. All My Love
