Wed-night,
Dearest darling wife + no kids
Well here it is another day and I got three letters from you to day [sic] dated the 14th, 15th, and 16th. I got that snap shot that Pauline took of you and I think its [sic] good so I’ll send you this check for fifty bucks and another for a picture if you’ll send it. Well I disagree with what my brother Bill wrote you about being cold. I don’t feel it anyway. You know darling I don’t see how you get into all that trouble with the car. You always seem to get stuck, break the

chains or something. I think you’ll have to keep me in the poor house when I get back or else I”ll have to take your driver license away [sic]. I’m only kidding your [sic] o.k.. [sic] Darling there’s nothing new and I’m ok. Have pleanty [sic] to eat and sleep pleanty [sic] so don’t worry although I wish I was with you when you wrote the letter I just read. I love you darling and I wish I was home. As Ever
Howard
p.s. I love you with all?
