Hello darling,
I love you and I just got back from bivouac and it was really a nice warm night, but any way I’m glad to be back. Gee darling the way you talk [N]orman + [M]idgie [?] must be awful happy. You make me envy them so darn much. Darling why bring Eddie up if you ever go out with him I guess I’ll have to go home and shoot him or something and darling you wouldn’t want me to be called a murderer would you? About the rocket launcher It looks like a peice [sic] of

pipe about five ft. long and 2 ½ inches in dia. and flies a rocket twenty one inches long which weighs about three lbs. max. range is three hundred yds. and used mostly againste against tanks and pill-boxes. Gee darling I miss you so much and I do want to get married so much but the war is going to be over this year I hope so I’ll be with you next winter. I love you and please darling wait for me.
