Hello Sweet Stuff
How are you to-night [sic]?Its [sic] been so long since I’ve seen you that I can’t make up my mind wether [sic] to go home on a pass and see you or just look at your picture. Darling I know you won’t come down to see me but will you come and meet me half way. I sure would like to see you
[page 2]
again. Darling don’t mind me I just don’t know what to do with out [sic] you. You know now it is or do you. Well I had kind of a [illegible deletion] hard day to day [sic] and I’m tired. I got another one to morrow [sic]. Drive in the morning and fifteen mile road march in the afternoon so I guess I turn in early to-night say 12:00 o’clock. Well darling I wish this - war was over so a couple of people
[page 3]
that are really in love could get married instead of keeping them apart that there [sic] no chance of them getting with in [sic] a thousand miles of each other. Well good night dear and I love you. In the last letter you said you didn’t know just how I felt about you. Well I love you even more than I did when i was home last time if thats [sic] possible. I love you and good night [sic] darling. Just like before
