Afternoon
Dearest Mushy Mush,
We’re having some terrible weather down here lately. Its [sic] been raining for the past three or four day [sic] and it makes me so lonesome. I got a nice letter from you to day [sic] which helped a lot because my moral or whatever you called it was very very low but now I feel ok again. Darling I still want to know what you want for christmas [sic] and I’ll be mad if you don’t tell me, as for myself I don’t want anything but you. Honest darling if you only knew how much I want you with me. But as things stand now I wouldn’t be able to see you very much. I hope things change around here for the better
[Page 2]
pretty soon. Darling did I ever tell you you [sic] were the prettiest most wonderful darling a guy ever had and on top of that your [sic] the best wife too. Well darling I’m here arguing with Camp about train connections and he won’t believe me. I’m trying to tell him how to spend an entire day at home if he get [sic] another furlough, by taking the right trains. Gee darling I hope I get a five day pass christmas [sic] because if I do I’m coming home. I love you darling and I got to leave now. Remember darling I love you and I always will. As Ever
