Dear Yve.
I’m sorry I didn’t write last night but I didn’t get finish [sic] work until around eleven thirty last night and I was pretty tired. After I got to bed I fell asleep right away. I did have a very nice dream about you and it seem [sic] so real I hated to wake up. Well darling nothing new ever happens to me anymore. Maybe if I go home I’ll have something happen but maybe not.
[Page 2]
Gee I’d like to be going to the beach with you this summer but as it looks now I won’t be home possibly before september [sic] but I hope its [sic] before that. Well darling there really isn’t anything to write about except how much I love you and miss you and thats [sic] a lot. Words can’t express it. I’ll always love you and when this war is over I’ll prove it so until that time you’ll have to take my word. I love you darling so very much. As Ever,
Howard

P.S. I love you more.
