My darling Yve.,
I love you so very very much and I do so hope they send me home soon. The latest on going home is that I’ll be home before the first of september [sic] and its [sic] pretty official because we got the orders to start packing and I guess they mean it this time. I won’t beleive [sic] it thou [sic] until I’m actually in the U.S. the thought of going home and then the big disappointment of not going is too much even
[Page 2]
for me. Darling I really love you so much and I’m so sorry you felt that way about our anniversary. I know darling I wanted to be with you more than anything in the world but its [sic] just me of [these’s?] things. Darling I hope I’m forgiven for everything. I kind of let off a lot of steam last night that I should’nt [sic] off [sic]. I’ve been working since six this morning and am very tired to night [sic] I got to close now but darling I’ll never fell right until I can hold in my arm again and tell you just how much I love you. Your worst half,
Howard
P.S. I love you darling
