Dearest darling Yve.,
Gee I miss you so very very much. Every day it seems to get worse. I’m not doing anything thats [sic] why the days seem so long. Now they talk about giving furloughs & passes but look where I am. If they give me thirty days I could go home but if not I might as well not take it and besides it will cost a fortune to get home anyway I’ll see if I get a long furlough. You’ll hear from me because if I don’t get paid I’ll wire for [Some?] of your hard

earned money. I want to see you but it costs [sic] so much to travel from out here but I’ve made up my mind I’m going home if I have to hich hike [sic]. Gee darling I love you more than anything in the world and I’d travel around the world to see you for one hour. By the way darling, How’s [sic] my little junior makeing [sic] out. I still am in the dark about it because I have’nt [sic] heard from you for quite a while. How are you my darling? I love you I love you I love you so darn much. You know darling even if I don’t get a furlough. because I ought to be

a civilian before the first of the year anyway and that won’t be so very long to wait will it darling and maybe I’ll get station [sic] nearer home, anyway I can dream can’t I? Gee darling I miss you more all the time. [Illegible deletion] It’s funny that everytime I leave I miss you more. I guess I’ll never get tired of you. I love you so much my darling and I want you so much. Good night [sic] for now darling an [sic] you’ll probably be seeing me sooon soon. Your worse half that love you [most?],
Howard
