Darling Yve
I love you. I don’t know when I’m coming home. In my last letter I did’nt [sic] think I would get a furlough at all and now I think I will get one. I was picked but to be the [illegible deletion] Cornel’s [sic] orderly to-day [sic] and I did’nt [sic] enjoy it at all but I did hear him say that we will get a furlough though. Darling I’m glad to hear that you are having a good time in Detroit. I sure wish you I was with you. I hope you can read this because I just got 3 minutes till light but I am coming home soon so take it easy. Love

Howard
