Hi darling,
I just received the package you sent with the assorted games in and everything is swell. To-night [sic] I got two nice long letters from you which makes me feel like a king. Darling when I say I want brownies I want brownies. I don’t care if they are a little stale. I like them. Well darling as far as me worring [sic] about people talking about you going out, well it just don’t worry me. I know you better than that so let the people talk.

[Page 2]

You know darling they tell me the war is over but it doesn’t seem much different over here. I hope I don’t have to stay here very long because hanging around here would drive a man nuts and I’m over [it?]. Gee darling I miss you so darn much and when you mention all those thing [sic] we did it just does something to me. When I get back we [will] do most all those things over again. I love you so very very much and want to be with you. Thats [sic] about all I want. I love you. Yours Only,

Howard

P.S. I love you more.
