If you love it, the very odor is the elixir of the gods, if you don’t love it, you usually like the meatballs and melted butter. That refers to lutefisk, which same gelatinous one-time fish the faculty will consume from heavy platters, to the accompaniment of lefse and kling at the Faculty Club meeting December 5 at suppertime in the new recreation-dining hall. Professor Engebret Thormodsgaard will attempt to make satiated scholastics sing Christmas carols after the last gravy bowls have been whisked away.
