My darling wife,
Gee I miss you tonight and I didn’t get any letter today either. Well darling nothing exciting has happened today. This morning I was driving for supply and at ten o’clock I and the rest of the company had to go and see a picture on set, and I’m telling you it was pretty rough and right after we had our thanksgiving [sic] dinner to-day [sic] instead of thursday because all the boys were in the feild [sic] all week. Darling the dinner was the worst holiday dinner that I had since I was in the army. Well after dinner I worked around
[Page 2]
the barracks and tonight I went to the show and now I’m in the dayroom with Winderman White and Camp. Camp is a proud father now he has a son. Darling I saw Jack today and he look [sic] pretty good and he still lives in Hoptown. Ray says to tell you you better not come to Hoptown because he says look what happened to them. And he says hello. Gee darling I love you so much and when I think of how long I have to wait to see you again it seem [sic] like years. But I guess I can wait. I love you so very much and even if it is wartime I’m glad we got married when we did. I love you. I love you. I love you and good night darling. As Ever
