Hello darling,
Well I guess this will be my last letter to you this week because you’ll be here before you get the letter I write tomorrow. I got a letter from Ray to-day and I guess he’s being treated o.k. because he says he has t-bone steaks and that he’s got the co. down there working on a christmas [sic] pass for him. I hope he gets one. I’ve been getting letters from everybody this week. and not very much time to answer any of them. Poor little me. Well I guess I’ll be able to catch up the next two days. We ain’t doing much of anything right now. I’m driving for Div. Ration this week and after that I’m going to see you for a few days I hope.
[Page 2]
Darling I just can’t wait til I see you saturday [sic]. I hope I don’t have to make that parade sat. [sic] but you know the army but I guess that not the way to feel [sic]. Well darling I haven’t any news except that I love you more and more all the time and you better be prepared for a stiff back because I’m going to hold you in my arms and squeeze till it hurts. Goodnight darling and remember I love you. Your loving husband
