Hello sweet Stuff
Well how’s my little honey to-night [sic] and does she still love me? I hope she does because I love her so very much and I wish the war was over so we could get married, but that’s just like wishing for a furlough. Well honey I just got back from Paris Tenn. and I’m tired. I drove
[page 2]
trucks for the past three days steady and to-day [sic] I got a little time to write. Saturday I drove about three hundred miles. Sunday I drove three fifty and to day [sic] only 268 miles and to-day [sic] I went over toll Bridges two or three times and got ferried accros [sic] once and thats [sic] about all the excitment [sic] I had. Well so much for that. I got a letter from my brother Warren and he said you were up
[page 3]
to the house the other evening and I wish I was there so much. I really love you darling [sic] and I got rid of most of my cold darling [sic] so don’t worry too much about [illegible deletion] me because I’m not going to let anything happen to [illegible deletion] me because I’ve got you to live for and I wouldn’t want to be cheated out of anything. Well darling I guess I’ll close but I’ll always love you. Good night [sic] darling [sic] and don’t work too hard. Love
