Darling I wish that we could of [sic] gotten married with out [sic] causing so much trouble. I know your father disaproves [sic] before I write and wether [sic] he says so or not I know what he’s thinking. There’s only one thing and that I love you so very much and it make[s] me feel bad to have hard feelings like

Everybody has gone to town and gee darling I’m so lonely to night [sic]. Darling are you sure you really love me? There was a part in your letter that didn’t sound to[o] good. I guess it[‘s] my imagination though I love you very much and I hope to be home soon. Lots of love
