Hello Darling

Gee I love you to night [sic]. I’m so darn happy I went to see this other chaplain to night [sic] and as I walked in he called me by name and knew all about me. It seem[s] that he[‘s] taking over all the duties of the chaplain thats [sic] left. So when that form comes it will get to the right chaplain. I got to go again to-morrow [sic] night again for another instruction so I’m kept pretty busy these

days About the blood test I’ll have to mak[e] an appointment at the hospital for that but that won’t take long. I’ve had that done about five times already. I[‘m] getting to be full of holes. I got a letter from Warren to-day [sic] and he seems to like the idea of us getting married. Darling I got to go to bed now because first call is 4:45 AM. I love you with all my heart and please darling Will you still marry me? Lots of love

Howard
