Dear Yvette,
Well how’s everything at home? I’ve been so darn busy that I didn’t have time to write for the last two days, Guard all day and driving all night. To-day [sic] I had it kind of easy I even went swimming this afternoon and now I feel so drowsy I just wish you we’re here to feel drowsy with me. There [sic] playing my favorite song on the radio right now and it make [sic] me real lonely. Darling there’s nothing new happening around here
[Page 2]
so it [sic] hard to find anything to write about except I love you more than ever and I want you so much it [sic] past the funny stage. I just finished reading that novel you sent and don’t worry darling I [sic] sleep with you in your room if I have to move Pauline out personally. I send her down to [illegible] house for the night or make her sleep on the floor. I think we’ll have a party to-morrow [sic] night on account of we didn’t have a holiday yesterday
[Page 3]
when the rest of the [G.I.?] in the [E.t.O.?] did. I didn’t get those pictures back from the photo shop yet but as soon as I get them I’ll send them I hope they turn out good. I haven’t had an answer from Jack yet maybe he’s forgotten about us poor boy [sic] in Europe. Well darling I guess there’s not much I can say except I love you so very very much and I hope it won’t be long before we’ll be to gether [sic] to stay. I love you darling. As Ever,
Howard
