Thanksgiving
Dearest Yve. + ?
Well here it is thanksgiving and I’m here all by my lonesome again. Four times I’ve eaten turkey dinner in the army and it tastes worse each time. After dinner to-day [sic] I went to a show and now I’m back in the barracks writing, such a dull life don’t you think? I didn’t get any mail today because of the holiday and I don’t think my letter will go out either until to-morrow [sic]. Gee darling the days seem so much longer when I don’t hear from you but it not your fault. I know you write every day. Darling will you please take care of the christmas cards this year again like you always do because
[Page 2]
I’m too lazy. And darling you haven’t said yet what you want for christmas. I want to go home for my christmas present thats [sic] all. I love you so very much that I’m slowly going nutty in this place. If I don’t get out pretty soon I’ll be [illegible] our little ? might in beret it and that would be bad wouldn’t it? Yve there’s nothing new to write about. Nothing new happens around here. We had a very nice day for a change and I got a lot of sleep. Darling I love you more than ever and I want you more than anything in the world so take care of yourself and don’t give too many lessons. I love you like everything Yve. As Ever.
Howard

P.S. I love you even more than that.
