Yve darling,
I wish I could be with you to night [sic]. I feel so lonely and I want you so very much. I got a letter from you to day [sic] and it made me feel so much better and don’t worry darling I won’t worry about you, not too much anyway but just a little. I can’t help it some time thou [sic] but if you promise not to work too hard I’ll promise not to worry. Well to day [sic] I didn’t do very much and I didn’t even get to the show to night [sic] and that some-thing [sic] unusual for me because if you ever want to find me in the army I’m in the show. They started on the fifty point men for discharge already so I

be a free man before christmas. Anyway I got my fingers crossed and I’m hoping they don’t change their mind and keep us longer. Gee darling I love you so much I just don’t know how to put it. You do thing to me nothing else could. Just think of you makes me feel better. It won’t be long before I can reach out and touch you and I’ll be free too. All my old buddies have left for home already and there’s nothing to do any more so I’ll go to bed so if I get called for discharge I’ll be able to pass the physicle [sic] exam. I think I can make it so until tomorrow darling I love you so very much more than ever. Your worst half.
