Dear Yve.,
Hows [sic] my little girlfriend wife to night [sic]? I love you like everything and more than that to [sic]. I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t get those nice letters from you every day. I think your [sic] the most wonderful wife a guy like me could have. I worked pretty hard to-day [sic] and part of to-night [sic] so I feel awful sleepy and musky to [sic] but I think if I got to bed soon I’ll be better off for to morrow [sic]. There’s not much new going on around here darling in the first place. I’ll get a discharge from out here instead of going back to devens and in the next place I hope they hurry up. I’m getting impatient with them.
[Page 2]
Darling I don’t want you people to over work so you better lock the apartment [sic] up and hide the key and I’ll work when I get there. I love you darling I love you so very very much. I want you so much that I just can’t wait. I love you darling and keep nice and healthy for me and no colds until after I get home. I love you. As Ever.
Howard
