Dear Yve.,
Its [sic] only me again and I love you more than ever. Honest darling its [sic] getting worse all the time and I mean it to [sic]. I don’t feel like even working anymore. Gee darling I wish I was home again. Right now in the barracks they having a muscle match, which guy [illegible deletion] is the strongest of course I’m the weakest guy here so it no use for me to enter in the contest but it really good. People are crazy aren’t they darling wasting all that energy for nothing. I’m going to save all mine for that little [illegible] duck that I’m going to get sewed on my uniform and then take that five day train ride back
[Page 2]
home. I’ll probably be a reck [sic] when I get there but it’ll be my last ride on one of those trains. I just ran over the P.X. and had a milkshake and a hot fudge sunday [sic] and now I feel better. I didn’t get any mail to-day [sic] so I’ll get two to-morrow [sic] which will make me twice as happy. Darling I love you so very very much but I can’t find anything to write about and if I just write I love you all through the letter it would look kind of funny. I love you very much darling and until to morrow [sic] good night Sweet. Yours forever.
Howard
