Thursday.
Dearest Yve.
Well nothing has changed yet but I’ve still got hopes. I got a letter from Tony Siragusa and he says he’s enjoying civillian [sic] life and he wants to know how I’m making it. I think I’ll write to him to night [sic] and have through a little bull [illegible deletion]. I got a nice letter from you to day [sic] darling and I want you so very much darling. I love you I love you I love you more and more all the time. I can’t wait to see the apartment [sic] and you in it as my wife should be. You know darling I think you’d make a fine house wife. I love you so much and I’d give anything that if I was home with you I just about do anything. Gee darling I think you it would
[Page 2]
be nice if the army would let me go. I want to go home and right now that’s all I’m interested in. This is going to be very short so goodnight for now darling and I hope in the near future I can hold you in my arms and kiss you good night and then sleep right next to you with my arms around you like I used to. I love you darling. As Ever.
Howard

P.S. I love you and the princess both.
