Title
Letter to Yvette from Howard, September 23, 1945
Description
Howard is unimpressed with Santa Barbara, and California in general. He talks about a movie he went to see and tells Yvette to take time off from giving lessons to go see it also, as he thinks she is still giving too many lessons.

Dearest darling Yve.
Well its [sic] me again and darling I still want to go home. They can keep sunny Calif. if they want it but give me Southbridge. I saw Santa Barbara yesterday and its [sic] bigger than [Hopkinville?] but it hasn’t got as much. I guess there’s no place like home when you come right down to it. Gee Yve. I haven’t heard from you yet but I expect to get a letter in a couple of days. I hope. Gee how I love you I [sic] telling you it [sic] terrible. I want you so verry [sic] very
[Page 2]
much but I can’t do any thing [sic] about it. I can’t even go home and I want to so much. I miss you more now than I ever did before. This after noon [sic] I went to the show and saw Love Letters and it was very good you should see it. Just take time off from giving lessons and go. I know your [sic] giving too many letters lessons now but you won’t admit it so darling please don’t over do it. I won’t be able to write very [much?] to-night [sic] because I’m running out of thing [sic] to say. I love you very much and I want you so much. As Ever,
Howard
