My darling Yve.,
Gee I love you I love you I love you. That’s [sic] all I can think of to say. I want you and I need you so very much I don’t know how I even got along with out you before we we’re [sic] married and gee I so glad we got married and gee I [sic] so glad we got married. Well darling hows [sic] junior getting along? Here I am talking about junior and I don’t know anything because its [sic] been two weeks since I heard from you. Gee Mummy I love you and I hope I hear from you soon. What I need is a discharge darling then
[Page 2]
everything will be o.k. I didn’t do very much to-day [sic] because they just don’t know what to start us on but they say that we start basic training tomorrow and I know they’re going to find it awfully hard to keep track of me because I took that basic training about 12 times already and I’m not about to take it again but who am I to say weather [sic] I will or won’t, its [sic] just one of those things. I know now I won’t get a furlough for a while because all the 36 point men and under get them
[Page 3]
first and we got a lot of boys that have’nt [sic] got 36 points yet. There is another thing I want you to come out here but there [sic] no place you could stay. The town aint [sic] as good as [Hoptown?] to find a place to live in and darling I could’nt [sic] be with you as much. I love you my darling and I want to be with you so very very much so maybe I’ll be home by christmas [sic] to stay I hope and thin [sic] we [sic] have some thing our own. I love you so very much and write. I love you. As Ever,
Howard

P.S. I love you most.
