Darling Yve.,
Just another day and I miss you so very much that I’ll never know what it’ll be like to be lonely when I get out of this army. Its [sic] worse than being over in France because when I was over there I knew I could’nt [sic] come home but here I can and the war is over and gee darling I love you so very much I don’t know what to do. To morrow [sic] I [sic] going to take a three day pass to Hollywood and see the sights. Every body [sic] thats [sic] been there so far said it was very expensive but it won’t be for me because I won’t
[Page 2]
be the kind of suckr that the others we’re [sic]. I’m going to just see the sights and do like Toney [sic] [Siragusa?] live in the U.S.O. I would’nt [sic] even go but if I stay around here I’ll go nuts and you would’nt [sic] want me to do that would you darling? Well darling I have’nt [sic] had a letter yet I guess I live to [sic] far away from you and gee it [sic] so lonely here with out [sic]. I’ll be glad when I’ll be able to kiss you goodnight and sleep with my arms around you. I’ll never turn my back to you any more. By the way Hows [sic] junior or isnt [sic] there any. I love you I love you I love so very very much. Gee I hope I get a letter
[Page 3]
from you soon. I know that you’ve wrote but it take so long to get it. Darling I love you and miss you so very much and I want to go home so bad that it is’nt [sic] funny. I love you darling so until to morrow [sic]. Your worst half,
Howard
