Hi Kid.
How are you? I got another letter from you to-day [sic] and it made me feel like taking off over the hill and go[ing] home. Well darling I went down to the motor park [and] did a little work and came back to the barrack and had chow. Then I layed down on my bunk and fell a sleep [sic]. Nobody did wake me up until it was night and then the [sergeant?] told me I had to go to a meeting at regament [sic] headquarters so I had to get dressed and go. Well the meeting lasted till eleven o’clock and now I [am] thinking about the inspection tomorrow morning at nine.

[Page 2]

Gee I think I’m losing my ambition. Well honey I can’t think of much more to write so I’ll have to close but still write to morrow [sic] and I’ll have more to talk about. I love you and always will. Lot of love

Howard.

[The following was included as a postscript.]

P.S. What will we do if I get home on furlough? Get married.
