Hi Darling
I got a new job now and it kind of hard at the begining [sic] but it will get better. First I’ll tell you that I couldn’t get mass on the long distance I tried all [S]aturday night and then I tried from 7 o’clock Sunday until 11:30 and I couldn’t get you then either so I guess I’ll have to try some other time. Well darling I’m working in an office now in the company ain’t that something. About you going out you can go out all you want to but I’m [sic] don’t want to go out with other girls. Darling don’t send any more candy
[Page 2]
in our letters because the one I got was just opened by the post office and if you want them to kind of a read our mail send some more candy in it. I might get a 16 dollar raise on this job but there’s nothing [illegible deletions] going to be done about it right away. [W]ell darling I love you very much and I hope that you love me to[o]. I love you Darling. Love
Howard
