Dearest Mummy,
I just got a card from you that you sent me Sunday night. You see I told you I’d get a card from you and darling I miss you so much too. But darling you know its [sic] a good thing that you left when you did because it wouldn’t be very good this week. We [have] got classes two nights this week and to morrow [sic] night we [have] got to run the infiltration course and that [is] going to last until three o’clock Thursday morning.
[Page 2]
Darling it sure did rain to-day. [sic] Do you remember where we were when Jack picked us up and brought us to town Saturday? Well darling there’s nothing new since you left except I miss you so much and darling I love you I love you I love you and I just can’t wait for a furlough. Good night darling and remember I love you. Love,
Howard
