My darling Wife ,
Well I suppose you [are] back home now giving lessons every day now. Please darling don’t work too hard? I got to go out to-night [sic] around seven-ten so I haven’t much time to write but I just couldn’t go with out [sic] writing. I love you so much darling and I wish I was home with you right now. Ray just came over and jumped up on my bunk but don’t get me wrong he didn’t lay down in the bed. Well he just said isn’t it hell
[Page 2]
to be with out [sic] a wife. Darling if you only knew how much I miss you. Well darling I didn’t so very much to-day [sic] except sleep in the field but the flies were so bad they kept waking me up. Well darling I got to go now but [I] will write to morrow [sic] good night darling and pleasant dreams. I love you,
Howard
