Hi Darling
I feel swell now since I got your letter. I sure hope [N]orman comes down here because I sure want to see you even more than you want to see me. I went to bed early last night and I had a wonderful dream. It was all about you. You don’t want to hear it did you say? Well your [sic] going to listen any way [sic]. It took place back in 37’ and I had my little black car and it was in [N]ov. there’s [sic] was a dance at the High School and you were in the corner with Lil and I was with Roy that night. I had been drinking heavy and I got up and asked you to dance
[Page 2]
then I woke up. It seemed funny dreaming about something that really happen[ed] about 4 year’s [sic] ago and it seemed so real. The Sarg. came down here this morning and he said that I had to leave for the West Coast in the morning and I was getting worried so then I asked him if he meant it and he said he was only fooling. Isn’t he funny though. Well darling I write you to-morrow [sic]. I love you darling and I hope that you can come down and see [illegible deletion] our fair country down here sometime. Love
