Dear Yvette
Everything is ok so far. I got here about 2 O’clock [F]riday and had quite a time finding my way around. Everybody is OK up here so far. Saturday morning we got up at 4 O’clock and showered, made our bunks. the [sic] we went to mess. [A]fter mess we went to get our uniform’s [sic] I got mine and it is about 3 different colors. [I]t doesn’t fit so hot either. [W]ell we are pulling out of here before long don’t know where were [sic] going but [illegible deletion] you know how it is. I miss you alot and I still love you as much as ever don’t know whether I will see you

before I leave but I wish I could. I sign up for th[e] Air Corp but I don’t know how I made out yet. I missed you last night when I went to bed at 9:00. I love you. I love you. With love
