Sunday
Dearest darling wife,
Well darling here it is my first sunday [sic] in Germany and I wish it was my last. I didn’t do much to-day [sic] - I slept until around nine o’clock then this afternoon took a little ride. Well how are you? I haven’t had a letter for about three days and I guess thats [sic] why I’m down in the dumps. I hope those packages you sent hurry up and get here because I get hungry quite often any way you can send some more
[Page 2]
stuff to eat any time you get a chance. Make it a lot of cookies you know brownies. Well darling there isn’t much new around here. You mentions [sic] my little car in your last letter and your [sic] getting me more home sick [sic] every day. I sure miss that car and all the time we had in it. Do you remember our little place on Pleasent [sic] St. well I do and I like to be there now. I’m in the mood & very much so. I love you and every thing [sic] about you but I’ll say good night [sic] for now I love you with? Your long distance [illegible deletion] husband,
Howard
