Hi Darling
How are you to-day [sic] [?] What new? Are you going out to visit your Aunt with your sister or what? I am still trying to find out the exact day that my pass will start on. I wish I knew so I could tell you. Well nothing new has happened since the last letter I sent you. I wish I was home to-day [sic] because every body [sic] is singing (Miss You) and I shure sure do. I love you more and more every time I go to Louisville. I see all the boys down there with there their girl freinds [sic] and it just ai’nt [sic] right for me to be down here away from you. I went to town and it[‘]s just a waste of time. It would be allwrite right [sic]. If you were there I would go every night. I got paid yesterday and I got to save every bit of it so I can by [sic] my ticket on the train home
[Page 2]
but when I go home I won’t have much to go out on so don’t plan to go on too many formal affairs. Well darling the war will be over soon I hope and we’ll be to-gether [sic] again and then every thing [sic] will be O.K. I’m so darn sick of this war and don’t think I ain’t. I love you and I’ll always love you. Love
Howard
