Dear Yvette,
Well its [sic] me again and feeling in the pink again almost. Anyway a lot better than I did yesterday. How are you? You know that next door neighbor of mine back home, well I got a letter from her back home and I’m going to save it and show it to you when I came home. Well darling the whole company has left to go on an night problem

and I’m here all alone to night [sic] and gee its [sic] so darn lonesome here. You sit and nobody to talk to gives you too much time to think of how long its [sic] been home and how much you miss everybody. Darling is the skating any good yet? You haven’t mentioned anything about it this year yet because if I come home New Years you got to go dancing one night and skating both gee and Roller and

then I’ll let you beat me bowling and then you can say what we’ll do from then on ll till I have to come back. Well darling I’m going to close tonight because I [sic] going back to duty tomorrow and its [sic] the day before xmas and so good-night darling and I love you very much. Love
