Well its [sic] me again and feeling in the pink again almost. Anyway a lot better than I did yesterday. How are you? You know that next door neighbor of mine back home, well I got a letter from her back home and I’m going to save it and show it to you when I came home. Well darling the whole company has left to go on an night problem

[page 2]

You sit and nobody to talk to gives you too much time to think of how long its [sic] been home and how much you miss everybody. Darling is the skating any good yet? You haven’t mentioned anything about it this year yet because if I come home New Years you got to go dancing one night and skating both gee and Roller and

[page 3]

then I’ll let you beat me bowling and then you can say what we’ll do from then on ll till I have to come back. Well darling I’m going to close tonight because I [sic] going back to duty tomorrow and its [sic] the day before xmas and so good-night darling and I love you very much. Love
