11:00 P.M.
Dearest darling wife + no kids (yet)
Right now your [sic] some where [sic] in Ohio and I wish I was there with you. I miss you so much it [sic] not funny. It was a good thing that you went to day [sic] because I couldn’t of gone to town to night [sic] and it would of been very good for you. Well darling I didn’t do much to day [sic]. I drove a little in the morning then went to the show in the afternoon. Well after that we had another bothering inspection and its [sic] still going on and to morrow [sic] we have another one so I guess we’ve we’re going to

be busy. Well I know if you went home I could find out about furloughs so this morning at chow the first sgt. J.J. Thomas said that furloughs would start monday. I hope he’s right. Well darling I’m going to be now but I love you and miss you so darn much. Well darling I got to go now. I love you so very very much: As Ever
