Hello darling:
Well this is the third letter I’ve started to write to you to night [sic], lets see if I can finish it with out [sic] tearing it up. Where did you get that my dearest darling Hubby stuff I don’t my [sic] you calling me hubby but infact I like it but I don’t like to have you copy any one [sic] of those hillbillys from Tenn. Well honey I’m sorry if your [sic] so lame but I can’t help it when I’m

with you I can’t keep an arms [sic] lenth [sic] away so you already know. Gee darling you don’t know how much I love you but you’ll find out some of these days. Last night it was kind of cold so they called off the twenty five mile hike and in stead [sic] made us go out on a hundred mile black-out drive. When I came in I was so tired that I went to bed bed with out [sic] writing you a letter and anyway it was two in the morning and we

have to get up at five. We still have to go on the hike though friday so we’re not getting out of anything. Darling it look as if I have to take my clerk job back again, it seem the who one that was taking the job isn’t so good. Oh well you do as your [sic] told in this mans [sic] army. Since I’ve been back I haven’t been able to get to bed before twelve so if you don’t get a letter from me you know it isn’t all my fault.

Ted’s here to-night and he sends his love but I don’t mind because he’s isn’t your type. He said to me when are you going to send some more brownies. He still thinks we’re married and wants to know the truth. He say that because I [illegible] your letters uvette Laughing don’t prove a thing. He says maybe we’re keeping our marriage a secret or some thing [sic]. Well darling I got to go now. I love you and always will. With lots of Love
